Andy and Sharon Price were practicing the legendary lift from “Dirty Dancing” when they were knocked unconscious.

Sharon said their decision to practice the routine was “spur of the moment.” She recalls everything leading up to the fall, but believes the impact knocked her out.

“I think I knocked myself out hitting the floor as hard as I did. I wasn’t too aware of what was going on after that,” said the bride-to-be.

Both Sharon and her future hubby were taken to Southmead Hospital following their collision. They were discharged after six hours.

Sharon and Andy Price have decided not to include a dance routine from “Dirty Dancing” in their wedding following a viral accident that landed them both in the hospital.

“I’ve always watched it and me and my daughter watch it, over and over again,” Sharon said.

“We thought it would be something a bit different. Everybody else slow dances, so we thought we’d jazz it up a bit,” she added.

In the wake of the viral accident, the couple has decided not to try the “Dirty Dancing” routine on their big day. Instead they’ll go for something more “traditional.”

“I don’t think we’ll have that one at the wedding, I think we’ll go for a traditional slow one and I’ll let Andy choose,” Sharon said.
