Footage from Randy Travis’ naked tirade during an infamous 2012 drunk-driving arrest was made public by Texas authorities for the first time.
The censored dash-cam video shows a naked Travis — a Country Music Hall of Famer — escorted to the police car by an officer in the town of Sanger, which is located in north Texas.
Another portion of the clip shows Travis ranting while sitting in the passenger’s seat of the car.
“I pray to God that he will have a cancerous growth that infects his bones and every part of his body,” Travis says to an official in the video.

A trooper then asks if Travis’ diatribe is directed toward him, to which the singer replies, “Yes it is.”

The arrest took place in February 2012, shortly after Travis crashed his car. Authorities later confirmed Travis’ blood-alcohol concentration (BAC) was double the legal limit.
Travis, 58, had attempted to prevent the video from being released by authorities by filing a lawsuit earlier this year, but his request was denied in court last week.
The singer has won six Grammys in his career and is known for songs such as “Three Wooden Crosses” and “Forever and Ever, Amen.”
