While Harvey Weinstein was busily doing damage control against a bombshell New York Times story alleging decades of sexual misconduct, his long-suffering fashion designer wife Georgina Chapman was showing her new line of wedding gowns in Manhattan.
Weinstein, who according to the New York Times has settled eight sexual harassment lawsuits with women accusing him of sexual misconduct, announced that he would be taking a leave of absence from his film production company in a you-a-culpa day that saw him release an apology for his behavior while his legal team announced that they would pursue a $50-million lawsuit against The New York Times for publishing their story about Weinstein’s misdeeds.
Chapman, who married the movie mogul in 2007, debuted her Marchesa Notte Bridal Fall 2018 line on Thursday.
