Suu Kyi on Rohingya exodus
In her first public comments about the exodus of Rohingya Muslims, Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi said yesterday that sympathy for the Rohingya was being generated by “a huge iceberg of misinformation” to promote the interests of terrorists. Her comments came after United Nations chief Antonio Guterres warned of a risk of ethnic cleansing in Myanmar.
